COVID-19 and Lifesport operations


Dear Valued Customers,

The health and safety of our customers and associates is a top priority, particularly with the concerns related to the latest the omicron strain. As such, we will continue to be cautious and are following the following protocols for our in-store experience: 

ALL customers and Lifesport staff are required to wear a facial covering when inside the store . 

We continue to offer curbside pick-up and our online store remains open (24 hours a day!) for those who are not comfortable or unable to wear a mask. 

 

  • We will continue to maintain an in-store customer capacity of 10 to enable social distancing and ensure a comfortable shopping experience. 
  • We require all customer practice good hand hygiene (hand sanitize) when entering and leaving the store, and before handling any products in the store.
  • We require all customers and Lifesport staff where a face covering while inside the store. 
  • Payment machines are wiped down after each use.
  • All high-touch surfaces are wiped down regularly throughout the day (cash desk; door handles etc.)
  • If you are exhibiting any symptoms or feel unwell, please stay home and shop online.
  • Ski lessons are held outdoors and group class are maximum of 10 people (with social distancing to be followed)
  • Wax clinics are held at the store, with a maximum of 10 people (including instructor). Masks and hand sanitization is required.
  • Cancellation - Wax clinics or ski lessons may need to be cancelled at any time in response to public health requirements and restrictions. We will do our best to inform you in a timely manner should we need to cancel. 

 

Additional message to our customers: 

COVID has had a significant impact on suppliers and retailers - Lifesport is no exception. We will do our very best to get you set up with the gear you need to enjoy xc skiing this winter.

We are working very closely with our suppliers, but unfortunately there are a lot of uncertainties as to when product will arrive. In addition, things have changed significantly month to month, and continue to change. These are very different times than 3 or 4 years ago.

Again - we will continue to do our very best to ensure we have a great selection of XC gear, clothing and accessories for you. Please be patient and understanding.
